Peanut Butter!

I absolutly love anything with Peanut Butter (embarrassing to the point where I will eat it off the spoon) so when my friend, Alex, told me about her enviable night drinking wine and making Peanut Butter Brownies! I had to get her to share with you.

There’s nothing better than heading home with a bottle of wine and a friend after a long deserving day at work…followed by baking.
Jess invited me around for a few wines and a bit of baking on a Tuesday evening after work. She wasn’t sure what but she felt like baking and with a block of dark chocolate and a jar of peanut butter in her shopping bag we knew these ingredients were going to be involved.
So while she cooked dinner I searched the Internet for a good recipe. Naturally I went straight to my favourite website Smitten Kitchen (www.smittenkitchen.com) and typed in Peanut. A number of recipes popped up but my eye caught Peanut Butter Brownie straight away and I didn’t look much further after seeing the photo of the final product. It will suck you in!
After a much awaited hour or so the brownies were ready to be enjoyed. Amazing! Crispy outer shell with moist, soft brownie texture inside and topped with a thick layer of dark chocolate ganache.
This will definitely be a recipe I repeat in the future (weekend) ha!
