Travel Diaries – Croatia
February 7, 2011
Last week I introduced you to Stacey, now it’s sweet Peachy’s turn. Philippa Neal (aka Peach) is a close friend who is currently nursing in London. Like Stace she is making the most of all the adventures that are right at her doorstep. Here she shares Croatia with us…Amaze! xx

Where I stayed: In family run hostels in both Split and Dubrovnik. For the rest of the trip we were Island hopping so we stayed on a boat
What I ate: We ate gorgeous local cuisine, delicious pizza’s, salads, and for those that love seafood there was plenty to indulge in, fresh from the sea
What I drank: Croatian wine with our meals and enjoyed cocktails in the various harbours
What I saw: Beautiful coast lines, the bluest ocean. The national parks were tranquil with various places to explore and ruins to see. Dubrovnik, an old town, shows the spirit of the locals and how they came together to rebuild what was lost when it was bombed in the early 90′s
Favorite place: My favourite city was Dubrovnik with its history and the variety of activities to fill your day with. My favourite small town would be Hvar with its vibrant atmosphere
Inspiration: I had the ability to take advantage of such a wonderful environment – what inspired me was the ability for a country to overcome such recent troubles and to rebuild itself
What I wore: I lived in Bikinis, cute summer dresses and my trusted jandals.
