Travel Diaries – French Alps
February 4, 2011
Stacey Hunt is one of my lovely lovely friends she and moved to London last year to experience new and wonderful things. Just a hop, skip away from amazing adventures. When she told me she had been snow boarding in the French Alps I wanted you to share in her experience too! Enjoy xx

Where I stayed:In a tiny (!!) apartment on the ski slopes in Risoul, French Alps.
What I ate: Lots of bread, cheese, ham and salami! Plus some great pizza, pasta and crepes. Mulled wine to warm up after a day up the mountain and of course lots of French wine at night.
What I did: Days were spent up the mountain snowboarding and evenings socialising over a drink or two! There was also the pub quiz we won one night, a superheroes fancy dress party and of course New Years Eve celebrations.
Favourite Day: New Years Eve – Great day up the mountain with a great group of friends. Midday drink on the mountain to ring in the New Zealand New Year and of course our own New Year celebrations that night.
Who I met: A bunch of crazy Kiwi and Aussies and a French waiter who liked to mock us in front of everyone for not speaking French.
What I wore: By day – snowboarding clothing with lots of thermals! It was chilly! Plus a very fashionable (ha) helmet and goggles. By night jeans, boots and a cute top with a jacket for when outside.
